Uses of the Genitive

        1) The genitive is used to express possession.
       

templum Augustī - 'The temple of Augustus'

         
        2) Genitive of the whole (aka partitive genitive):
       

nimium vīnī - 'to much (of) wine'

       

nihil bonī - 'nothing (of) good'

         
        3) Genitive of Price the genitive is used to express the
        value of an object, often with facere or habźre - 'to consider;'
       

aegrōtōs floccī nōn faciō - 'I do not consider sick people
