Name Origin: From the Latin word caesius (sky blue)
Discovered in 1860 during an analysis of Durkheim mineral water .
Can be found by heating both elements with sodium metal to 650 degrees Celcius
Metallic cesium is too hard to handle so it is distributed in azide, heated cesium.
Is a bad mix with air and water.
