Gallium
Fun Facts:

Gallium is a Basic Metal.

Gallium's atomic weight is 69.723 amu

Gallium's standard states is solid.

Gallium's melting point is slightly above room temperature.

On the Periodic Table of Elements Gallium is in the column 3A and the fourth period. It does not have a group name. Gallium is silvery-blue and looks metallic. Gallium is used in high temperature thermometers. It is one of the longest liquid ranges of any metal and it has low vapor pressure. Gallium looks similar to glass. It should not be stored in glass or metal because it's dangerous. Gallium is number 31 on the Periodic Table of Elements and it's chemical symbol is Ga.
Gallium was predicted by Mendeleev, the creator of the Periodic Table of the Elements, in 1871. It was predicted to resemble aluminum and it's properties. Mendeleev wanted the element to be named ekaaluminium and it's chemical symbol being Ea. Mendeleev's predictions are remarkably close to reality. Gallium was dicovered spectoscopically by Paul-Emile Lecoq de Boisbaudren in 1875. Gallium is derived from the Latin word Gallia meaning France. Gallium's melting point is 85.57º farenheit and boils at 3999º farenheit. Gallium's superconduction temperature is -457.72º farenheit.
It's Elementary!!!!
When Gallium is painted on glass it makes an amazing mirror.
Gallium apprently has no biological role but it is aid to stiulate the metabolisim. Gallium appears not to be toxic. Gallium aresinide converts electricity into coherent light. Gallium has two stable isotopes. The two isotopes are used in physics and nuclear medicine. Gallium is used for production of radioisotopes.
