Palladium is a steel white metal, at room temperature it is a liquid, and it is soft and ductile. At it's standard stage it is a solid, and shiny.

Discovery & Isolation: Palladium was discovered by William Hyde Wollaston in 1803. He discovered it in crude platinum ore in South Africa. He did this by dissolving the ore and mixing it with hydrochloric and nitric acids, this made platinum and then by mixing the platinum with ammonium chloride, it made palladium.
