History
Technetium was originally predicted in 1925 and called masurium. It was officially descovered by perrier and Segre in Italy, 1937. Tehnetium was the first element to be produced artificialy. Since its discovery, its been searched for in space. Finally in 1962, technetium was isolated and identified that technetium is a uranium rich ore and is radioactive. Technetium is also found in star matter.
